I believe there is a rotator on top of your headlight motor. If memory serves me correctly, you should be able to adjust the final stopping point with this. Its under a black cover.

thanks dude. now to find it.

WARNING! Disconnect the battery before you start fiddling with the knob. Otherwise after a couple of turns the headlights will flip up, then down, and when your hand is right next to the light it'll scare the shit outta you.

The knob is red, with little arrows on it. Good luck.

It's at the rear of the headlight assembly, looks like a little dial, if that helps..

its supposed to have a black rubber "boot" on it

Actually you're right. So look for the black boot and under that is of course the dial. Mine was always falling off though so I never put them back on..

ooh, good post. i was just looking at that. my headlights only light up like 2ft in front of me :lol

Actually your all wrong. That dial you guys are talking about do nothing for adjusting them. That is just for manual lifting them incase your motor dies. If you twist this knob, the headlight assembly will just go back to its original place once you turn them on and off one time.

To adjust the headlights, you have to take off the shroud and there are some screws you loosen or tighten depending on how you want to move the light.

Well thats for adjusting the actual light but you can only adjust it so much with those. This is for adjusting how far the the motor can flip the light up. But I never tried it so...?
