yes thats correct I did the port and motor

Upgrayedd 03-25-07 06:12 PM

Did you do the last one that blew up? I can't remember... How severe of a port did you go with?

GregFD3S 03-25-07 06:14 PM

damn, nice work, sexy FC!

good job!

peter griffin... lmao!!

RX7Junkman 03-25-07 06:35 PM

didnt blow engine, one of the snaps where the coolant seals are broke off and water was leaking in the combustion chamber. I went with a street/race port not to big but not to small.

DMoneyRX-7 03-25-07 06:43 PM

looks like what I'm about to undergo here in about 2 weeks. What did you paint your irons with?

RX7Junkman 03-25-07 06:47 PM

dupli-color high heat ceramic racing red

justturbo2 03-25-07 06:58 PM

looks nice. love the fc. i miss mine now.

Upgrayedd 03-25-07 07:07 PM

Ohh got it. Just a coolant seal problem. So you're using the same motor? Or was this a spare?

I had to get a new front plate for the one that broke. other than that I saved the housings, plates, and rotors. new seals and gaskets etc.

Race Port project done

and I'm very have with it rides nice and smooth and not a bad idle, if I do say so myself I thought it be almost as bad as bridgeport.

RX7Junkman 04-29-07 03:30 PM

some more pics.

Old Slow Coach 04-29-07 03:38 PM

Nice looking engine bay! How much boost are you pushing? What turbo?

RX7Junkman 04-29-07 03:44 PM

as of now not boost anything, gotta break it in first, but it gonna run 15psi,on a t60-1.

FD WannaBe 04-29-07 03:58 PM

That thing is sick. Congrats on all your work.

Old Slow Coach 04-29-07 04:00 PM

What's your philosophy on breaking in? Ask ten people and you'll get ten different answers. Just curious what you plan to do.

Sobr609 04-29-07 04:00 PM

very nice ride..like the wheels alot!

neit_jnf 04-29-07 04:08 PM

I have them post in a previous thread. as for the break in change the oil every 500 miles and no boost til I hit 2K miles. and not all 15psi at once a few pounds til I work my way up to 15psi
