I think you were very lucky to pick up that car. If I wasnt blowing cash in other ways I would of bought that car in a HURRY.

Enjoy!

Whats going on with the piping on the left side of the bay?

silverflash2 02-28-07 06:44 PM

Congrats, I'm back and forth on going 3 rotor. I've been wondering when you insure your ride, can you get that motor insured if it's involved in a wreck or fire, since it's a engine conversion?

The 3rotor motor makes up for the lame front bumper and missing headlight covers. Give it some TLC it looks like it needs it. Did you get a deal on it?

Gonzz - congrats and welcome to the world of the 3 rotor. You are going to love the torque available. It makes for an amazing ride.

Insurance wise, I had State Farm for many years prior to my 3 rotor conversion. Note I said HAD - they dropped me as soon as I told them I had the conversion done. Finally ended up with Progressive as they will insure 3 rotor/modified cars. Have mine insured for $55,000 but will have to negotiate this if something happens. They don't guarantee a value. I have a file of 3 rotor sales so I can use these to prove the value.

Anyone know of a company that will guarantee the value and still allow you to drive the car? All I found (Haggerty, ect.) had very very low limits on the number of miles you can drive each year.
