Few current pics of my FD

I just drove my FD for about a 3 1/2 hour trip.. when I arrived Ihad my camera with me, so I thought Id take a few pics. I have recently installed my RE street diffuser, along with my new wheels. Wheels are RE amemyias, 17x9.5 rear and 17x8.5 fronts, with 255/40 and 275/40 tires. I do rub slightly up front sometimes with my RB springs, Im just waiting on getting a set of Koni Yellows from a forum member, so I can install those with RSR race spring. Also have recently installed a PFS SMIC and intake, and a Greddy profec B with boost set to 14psi, running a Pettit ECU. Car feels fast again ( for now.. :p: ) Soon the centers of the RE wheels are being powdercoated black.. I'll take some better pics as soon as I can, its just been raining alot here lately. Let me know what you think :)

nice .... a lot of time put in.
While its still neat as shit go find some place with some nice scenery especially since your up north it should have some awsome fall colors.
Your car looks good.I'll pass on the rims but then again I dont like mine either.
Good setup.

droooooool, I wanted the re-ameniya aw-7 for such a long time, they are badass wheels. Car looks clean, the koni yellows will set it off even better.

Thanks for the compliments. As for the wheels, they honestly look alot better in person than in the pics, and I think when the centers are black they will really look great. I like the RE wheels because they are made for the FD, and are already hub-centric. Im actually not going to drive it at all anymore until I get my new springs/struts on, I dont want to take any chances of catching the fender lip with the wheels up front.

Looks hot. Any engine or interior pics?

SayNoToPistons 10-09-05 01:46 PM

wow! it looks great with those sexy rims.

Meiogirl 10-09-05 01:50 PM

nice man, the tire fitment in the wells is what I like. You might try changing the type of tire you have in the front if you only rub a little. I simply went with a rounder corner front tire on mine and no more rub.

purerx7 10-09-05 04:26 PM

how much did you pay for the wheels? Also where did you get them from...

1QWIK7 10-09-05 05:52 PM

car looks great man

you need 99 spec tails though ;)

Motor City RX-7 10-09-05 05:58 PM

those rims look like something out of Starsky & Hutch to me, but to each his own I suppose :bigthumb:

Didn't you hear? The block tail lights are making a comeback :)

1QWIK7 10-09-05 06:32 PM

hehe

are they??

yikes

SayNoToPistons 10-09-05 07:37 PM

i like the block tail lights more for some reason...i used to like the 99's though

Rxmfn7 10-10-05 10:54 AM

Thanks again.. As for where I got the wheels, I bought them from a forum member, paid ~$1800 with tires, but fronts needed replaced. For the taillights, I have no problem with the factory S6 tails, and dont plan on changing them anytime soon. Here are a few more pics I snapped just about an hour ago, with some engine bay and interior shots as were asked for. In the drivers side interior shot, you can see where I mounted my ProfecB controller, under the steering wheel where the crotch vent used to be.

For some reason the camera makes it look like the interior/carpet is faded, but it is jet black. My interior is mint, 10/10. :)

Nicely done! :bigthumb:

RX-Racer 10-10-05 08:25 PM

love the rims!

PhoenixDownVII 10-10-05 09:27 PM

Nicest FD I've seen here in a long time.

Nothing like a clean, black, 94 :)

Rxmfn7 10-11-05 08:53 PM

Thanks again, nice to know other people appreciate the lines of a stock FD. Alls they need is some nice wheels to fill out the fenders, lowered slightly.. then they are perfect. :)

Jayseven 10-12-05 03:08 PM

very nice!! I love that diffuser

ROTORhead93 10-12-05 06:02 PM

Nice car man. Love the rims and diffuser. Great job.
