fd3s rx7 tt performance

is there any thing u can do to rx7 stock turbo
any upgrades to make it better ...is there any rebuild kits for the turbo
...i think stock turbos r pushing 10psi how much more can i get out of it
if i get larger intercooler, boost controller .... i don't wanna take the twins out if i can get lil more out of them... or single turbo is the way to go

any one know where i could get ceramic apex seals...

Take a look at the FAQ and read the thread under the topic "Advice"

the stock twins cant really handle more than 14 psi, and even then your stressing them.

at most, youll probably be able to see 350 whp IF you tune right and have all the right supporting mods.

Here is the recipe

Intake system, catback exhaust, midpipe, upgraded intercooler, walbro fuel pump, power fc, downpipe, with this setup you should see 315-340 whp @ 14 psi. I only managed 290whp@14psi but i am still looking for imporvements.

that recipe is great. my compression is 105 front and back. If I just added the cat back exhaust system from racing beat would it hurt anything? I'm dont drive it hard at all. Sometimes on the HWY I will open her up a little bit but not to much. Do I have to change anything else if I'm just trying to keep it simple? I know the standard reliable parts for the fd but for some reasome the rotary shop here says it;s ok since I dont dog it and the compression is great? I just want a nice exhaust and keep everything else the same. What are your thoughts?

OP: I'm tired, and irate, so I'm not going to say anymore than READ THE FORUM!!! Every question you have asked has been answered many times before. Check the FAQ, it's all in there.

gonzoatx: if you keep the boost at 10-11psi than adding just about any modification to your intake/exhaust is fine. Once you get to the point where you will go beyond 11psi you'll need to get a tunable ECU.

And don't baby the car. Rag the piss out of it (have fun) on the highway when it's warned up. All your doing by grannying the car is building up carbon and wasting time/fuel. Get on it! the car will thank you. 105psi is not bad compression, it's still good, but it's not "great".

i got full titanium exhaust downpipes
i got 3mm apex seals
i didn't do any porting on the engine...

i was thinking of porting engine and stock turbo exhaust manifold
getting V-mount intercooler and piping ...also upgrading the fuel system injectors and pump...installing greddy compression tube and getting apex-i super avc-r boost controller and turn up the boost to 13psi.... looking to get 350hp

or should i go with single turbo 450hp

T04B TURBO CHARGER

APEX-I Super AVC-R boost controller -- did any one install one of this...???

You my friend get the title super newb of the year. People have given you more than enough advice for you to be able to find all of your answers if you would just listen to what they say rather than asking more questions. Just go read the damn faq, almost every question about the FD is in there. Trust us when we say go read it. Were not trying to shun you away, were giving you good advice.
