FD RX7 Wants to start on its own!

Hello,
I had this weird thing happen to me yesterday while working on my FD..
I’m installing side skirts on my car when out of know where, my cars fans turn on and the start clicks!
I get and it does it again!
I disconnect the battery and play with it to see maybe it would stop..

here is what it does..
When I reconnect the battery the gauge cluster light blinks once and you can hear the relays turning on then a few seconds after all the lights turn on like someone is ready to start it and then the start primes.
ive never seen this before. The fact it goes through this cycle before starting makes me think it might have to do with the ecu or a relay..
Some help would be very appreciated..
I tried searching on the forum but nothing close to what I’m having.. I have a video of what it does..

The only way this should be able to happen is if the ignition switch is messed up or the lock cylinder is bad in some way.

2nd possibility; Does it have an aftermarket alarm with remote start capability?

Most likely aftermarket electronics. This isn't something a stock FD will do.

Aftermarket alarms/remote start, especially remote start, are a nightmare. Look at the wiring to the ignition switch for any aftermarket stuff that's hacked in.

Stock, the car CANNOT turn on without the key turning on the ignition switch.

Other possibility is the driver's side fender liner was eaten away and you rubbed into the wiring harness and it's shorting out.

Alright guys..
A buddy of mine helped me over look everything on the car..
it does have a aftermarket alarm system.
It’s a Clifford alarm/remote start!
I didn’t know that! And neither did the previous owner!
After trying to look for the ignition relay, I looked at my key fob and a new indicator I’ve never seen seen before was lit which was a picture of an engine
assuming it was the alarm system we disconnected it and back to normal!
my friend believes the brain of the alarm went bad because the second we put power to it, it starts clicking for no reason.. I ordered one more because I didn’t know it had remote start and I would like to see if it was the key fob is messed up or the brain was the reason..

Thank you for putting this idea to check out there
I’m new to the forum and I could not find anything relating to what I was experiencing..
huge relief! I appreciate the quick response you guys! Thank you!
