You are aggressively overthinking and over complicating a very simple task. There is no mystery as to what specs are needed to fit any wheel/tire size on any fd with any body kit. It's all been figured out and heavily documented. There is a 100+ page fitment thread here on the forum and fitment industries has an entire archive as well. Also, if you're planning on using a 15, dont. Hopefully I'm reading wrong and you are just using it for test fitting and measurements.

Is the 15x10 size for drag tire or 295 hoosier autocross tire?

You will want more room to the fender edge if its for a drag tire since they tend to have quite a bit of sidewall.

I did run a, as you say i am, "aggressive" search (i almost forgot how easy it is for someone to take time to blame people on this site then to just give a answer or say nothing) All i found was some say they using a specific back space on a 15x10 that looks flush to the fender and another say the same size back space and looks recessed inside the fenders. So if you think im over thinking, well yea because it doesnt add up. Maybe i should of mentioned that im running 15s for drag purposes. Maybe you are reading wrong im not running 15 inch wide, but a 15x10 wheel and im trying to find the perfect back space that will line up with the fender.

Yes sire, it is for drag reasons. Im just trying to figure out the perfect back space for a 15x10 with these type of fenders installed that also looks aesthetically pleasing. And not look like Mathew McConaugheyin Dallas Buyers Club with sucked in cheeks...

Feed uses 18x11 +30 on their touge monster FD with the wide overfenders.

We can use this website to see how a 15x10 would fit.

https://www.willtheyfit.com/wheels/

Looks to me like if you were trying to stuff a 305/50-15 under there a 15x10 +40 would work pretty well.

I believe that would be a hair over 7" backspace on a 15x10.

Thats a pretty cool website. But i don't think it'll help me much to match my fenders. I am going to be using 27x10.5 tires. 15x10 wheel is actual a 15x11 once you add the lip. From what I understand a 10 inch wheel is measure by where the tire beed mounts inside the weel, then you have the outer lip. Based on this diagram if I was going to go 7inch back space that will leave 4 inch from mounting surface to the fenders and i think that would sit the wheel to far into the fender. But as Im typing here I think i figured out how to get the fitment needed. I guess sometimes you just need some people to show you a few ideas to get your juices flowing...haha! thanks man

i ran herblennys setup of 18x10.5 +23 and they fit perfect. look at his old sema car, the graphite colored FD.
