Shouldn't this be in the 2nd gen. section? Anywho, I think the 2nd gen. guys use aftermarket fd radiator (fluidyne, Koyo, ect.) It'll prlly require some modifications, but I don't think they stated it was anything extensive.

Well I posted it in both since it would be an interchangeable issue. I was hoping one of you (fd) had sold to one of them (fc) and could answer my question.
Thanks though.

Search around and im sure you'll come up with the answer to your question. I remember searching around on radiators and thats how I came across the 2nd gen. peeps doing this.

Define major modifications. The FD radiator is not as tall as the FC radiator so it will "fit". The FC radiator into an FD is more of a challenge.

i would say an FD radiator in an FC is a downgrade. Its not as big as the FC radiator.

Just get a koyo for the FC and you never need to think about the coolant system again.

BTW why would you want to do such a thing anyways?

Is'nt it that the FC's Filler neck is on the Radiator and not on the engine block like the FD....correct me if I'm wrong...If I am correct then you would have to weld in a filler neck onto the radiator of the FD to make it work with the FC

depends on year

keep the stock FC rad and the clutch fan........ It was a pain using electric.

It MAYBE would work, but it would be a serious hack job and not worth it. The inlets and outlets on the FD radiator are different. Also, many FC's have a radiator neck on the radiator itself - the FD radiator does not.

If someone GAVE me a good FD radiator to put in an FC, I would sell it and get a good FC radiator.

Hehe, damn fellas. I only asked because there is a guy who read a post where I mentioned I would sell my stock fd radiator. His fc's radiator sprung a leak and he was asking if mine would fit. I told him I would have to ask around on the forum.
I appreciate the replies though!
