XSTransAm 04-22-04 03:30 PM

novadan67 04-22-04 04:13 PM

Hey XSTransAm, please post any imformation that you find. I also have a Canadian FD and I am very curious about this as well. I bumped the thread you linked above and asked if any more information was uncovered in the past year. I wonder if they are actually as rare as that thread implies.:)

the funny thing is you have a silver touring, I have a silver touring, and the pic in that thread is a silver touring. Maybe they had fewer color or model options... the plot thickens...

Roar 629 04-23-04 04:47 AM

they have fd in Argentina(south america)

i love it when there's like 5 FDs in an entire country :D

Cars running in Stock Category must have been series produced with normal road touring equipment capable of being licensed for normal road use in the United States, and normally sold and delivered through the manufacturer's retail sales outlets in the United States. Car models not specifically listed in any Stock Category class must have been produced, and must have met the above requirements and must have been sold through normal U.S. dealerships, in quantities of at least 1,000 in a 12-month period to be entered in the Stock Category .

http://www.moutons.org/sccasolo/Rules/stock.html

ENTIRE 1995 YEAR TOTAL -------------------------> 500

So what??? my 95 can never race in SS class???????

XSTransAm 04-23-04 12:12 PM

i think you can because the same car sold over 1000 a year in 93

dubulup 04-23-04 12:26 PM

That's good to know ;) but........I'm no where near stock on any view of the spectrum, LOL!

well, my car looks stock on the outside :D

I have Silver PEG /w red interior.... rare no matter where u go. I've only seen 1 other Silver+Red which belongs to a guy in MD who runs at Capitol Raceway with a PFS setup. Anyone seen this guy on here? Don't remember his name plus i dont live in MD anymore.

dubulup 04-23-04 12:39 PM

Silver on black PEP might not be rare...unless you're one of the 34 made in 95, but looks better than silver on red IMO.

I've only seen that in books...maybe in person, I'd form another opinion???

PandazRx-7 04-23-04 12:56 PM

I knew a guy who had a silver w/red interior here in S.Cali a few years back....I thought it was okay. I don't think I would buy it though.

tekno62 04-23-04 01:15 PM

RED SOOOOOO SUCKS... LOL I just dont like red on the inside.

JonesersRX7 04-23-04 01:25 PM

I know we have a guy running around here in AZ with Silver/Red. Saw him on the 10 and gave him thumbs up about 6 months ago.

apexkw 04-23-04 01:54 PM

yea theres a guy in naples with a silver/red interior car. only one i ever saw... on the other hand i have seen a ton of 93 vr tourings like my car.

Red-Rx7 04-23-04 02:43 PM

That website stipped the creditor of his name.. :(

Sorry to dig up an old thread...

Does anyone know if there are numbers on color combinations? I've got a black 93 with red interior, I'd like to find out how many of those were made.

su_maverick 08-26-04 10:29 AM

that would be interesting or does anybody know how many were produced in the december 1995 run, I heard that it was the last month run
