94 FD Touring 150k on chas. replaced with a certified Mazda reman @ 89k virtually all stock some slightly yucky rusty spots on rear quarter( very small) 2 owner car(guy has EVERY slip from original owner since dealership sold)(I'd be the 3rd) I'd personally say its in over all "good" condition Guys lookin for 9500$ Fair?? |
Little high if auto trans. Very low if 5 speed..buy it or I will. Depending on what all it needs.

Sounds fair if and only if it actually runs well. I would ask for documentation of the reman and look for the plate on the engine to make sure. I would also rent a coolant pressure tester to make sure the coolant seals are good. If the guy is confident everything is good he shouldn't say no to any of the above.

Thanks guys, I'm still nooby to rotarys/ 7's in general. Anything in particular I should spacifically look for?

He claims to have all slips from it, sent me a picture of a massive binder of everything, Witch actually kinda made me worry a bit. |

If you can afford it buy a nicer car. An FD with 100k plus miles can be a maintenance hand full and you also don't want rust.
The fat notebook is no joke. It takes a tremendous amount of care to own most any sort of high mileage high performance car but an FD will take it to another level. The price is fair but in 2 or 3 years you will likely have another 5 to 10k invested in that notebook. Good luck :icon_tup: |
