Nice...maybe you can do mine too! :D

I take it you just got multiple bends and cut what you needed?

XSTransAm 08-02-04 09:27 PM

yeah, i spent like 200$ on 2 1/2" bends and went at it... took me 5 hours start to finish

93BlackFD 08-02-04 09:46 PM

so you bought prebent pipe and have an aluminum welder or what?

SWAT81 08-02-04 10:00 PM

lolz this is what my friend did as well, only he used plumbing pipes that are dull aluminum and it came out beautiful. He cut them and got extra couplers to make the angles right.

I think you did a great job. The thing is along the way you got a education of sorts. We all know how we would do things if we had the money or equipment but sometimes it more valuable to just dig in ourselves. I like the setup and thats a big cooler.

yeah i just bought prebent and cut them to size, their are 7 seperate peices total. I coupled all the pipes together with silicone....

maybe somewhere down the line ill have the pipes welded together, but for now i think this will do the job.

Get rid of the stock intake elbow! get a Greddy!

MakoDHardie 08-02-04 11:47 PM

Hey, those came out real nice. Did they come polished, or you do them yourself? I'm gonna need to do some pipe work to get my TO4R hooked up to my vmount this week. I'll probably try to get the car to a truck shop to have them cut the inlet pipe on the IC and rotate and reweld it, but I need something to get me to the shop. I've got the stock IC flex hoses, but if there's something else that comes along and works better, I"ll pick it up and sort out my couplings.
