Extreme Lag in acceleration
 

My 93 RX-7 developed an acceleration bog down . It happens in 2nd thu 4th gear. "my tach is inop" at around 45mph in 2nd it starts and lastes for apx.7-10seconds each gear. 3rd at apx. 60mph and 4th at apx. 90.

It's as if the turbos have shut down for that period,and then i am shot out of the cannon again, What's happening? Could it be a vacuum leak?.

I have an oil leak and lose a qt of oil in 350 miles. whole undercarriage of engine has wet residue. Could oil be causing the lag getting into somewhere it shouldn't ?

Im not an avid mechanic and the Mazda dealer here has caused me headachs before . I may have to become my own Mech.
