exhaust problems
 

ok well, there's 2 main things im worried about w/ my rex, once again, the backfire, when u give it gas, its fine, when u let off, it pops. 2ndly, my Rex does smoke, in cold weather, smokes like a freight train, but normal 70 - 80 degree temp. it smokes a little, i know the color of the smoke determines rebuild or not, but what is a definite knowing that u have to rebuild.. and i believe its not a rebuild, im just very very cautious about the engine rebuild situation. i believe its just burning oil, there's an oil leak somewhere.

Some backfiring is normal if you have removed the pre-cat (i.e. you have a 3" downpipe installed).

The smoke, are you sure it's smoke and not condensation?

This is the THIRD thread you have started on the exact same topic within a week. Why should we even bother responding if you aren't going to do any of the troubleshooting we suggest?
