exedy hyper single

i have recently been spending too much time re(search)ing a clutch package and am curious if anyone is running the exedy hyper single clutch. it looks very interesting from an engineering standpoint. price $978 v the twin plate at $1500. i am looking for it all of course... a clutch that is streetable and will hold 5-600 hp along w the attendant torque. the hyper is advertised to have 2655 pounds of "clamping force". the twin plate has 2090. i will definitely need a conversion to foot pounds. anyone know? the clutch cover is cast aluminum and sits on towers which are part of the flywheel. (like a multiplate) they say that the cover shape allows higher leverage against the clutch spring making for an easier pedal. the disc appears to be a non-puck cerametallic with springs. the flywheel is chromemoly w vents to promote air (cooling) circulation. if this unit will hold the torque i am going to sign up.
anyone out there run one?

just a clarification on my post... firstly the cover is forged, not cast, aluminum. and, yes, i know that the exedy writeup indicates the hyper line is good for 400 hp but what intrigues me is they rate the clamping force significantly higher than the twin plate which is rated to 750 hp.

Why don't you buy it and be the first to do a write up on it.

I have had one of these single plate hypers fitted yest. and all I can say is it is VERY digital in use. But still bedding it in. ;)

Exedy UK claim it can hold 500LB Torque, which is the bit you need.

A couple of things you need to remember to order are counter weight, bearing and engagment arm. These have a tendancy to snap when used with uprated clamping forces so I have been told, so thought it wise to be replaced.
