evans npg coolant conversion

i have searched first of all but have not quite found everything i am looking for. when making the switch to evans npg what is everyone running for a pressure cap? i assume it is a extremely low pressure cap but am not sure what to source. also from what i have read with the lack of boiling around the combustion area this should also eliminate the need for a ast, or so i assume? I am just trying to cover my bases so when the car is finally together i will have fewer issues to sort out. i could pm people but then my miserable post count would not climb

I've been running Evans for three months now with great results. I did eliminate the AST and am running the filler cap with no spring. I actually was told by Rob at Pineapple to run the cap with the spring for a couple of hundred miles, which I did, to make sure all the air got out of the system. It wasn't hard for me cause I burped the system real good and my cooling system had been simplified to the point that I only have the two radiator hoses and the overflow bottle. Everything else is gone. I'm also running the Mazmart water pump and Pineapple did the coolant jacket mod to the new rotor housings when they put the motor together.
The Evans is funny in that it has a really strong smell that takes awhile to go away if you spill any. Also, temps actually read a few degrees warmer than regular coolant but that's s up posed to be because it's more efficient at absorbing heat than water. Nonetheless my temps on the PFC don't go higher than 85 at this time of year cause I don't use the AC that much.

I run a 7 PSI cap, but I also run NPG-R.

stock (or stock replacement) pressure cap with the pressure rubber seal removed.
