Engine setup for drifting

Hey guy so my plan is when i move back to the states to start my build for a single turbo drifting FD. I originated working on the Nissan SR power plant but i woke up and got a FD here in japan (stock twins do the job but create too much heat and low end torque lacks with sticky tires)
My car drifting stock twins at .9 bar with pfc

So my end goal is this (for my car in the states)
What turbo will be the best match for 350-400 whp with this setup (going to be keeping it at 15psi of boost from what i have learned in japan with rotaries for engine sake :) Iam going to need the low end power that caries to about 8k.

Streetport
PFC
x4 850 injectors
-Vmount
-Full open exhaust
-Nismo s15 fuel pump (lol i know)
-Act street clutch/streetlight flywheel

That's about it anything would be great. Thanks guys
-Ron

Garrett GT35R with a .63AR housing, full boost by just under 3krpm, and very linear power delivery. Just my 2cents

Thanks james, about how much power are you making with your car?

I would look into the Apexi Rx6 single. I have never had it on my car but from what ive heard its a nice fast spooling turbo. Also Just like james said the GT35R is good too and spools fast. The down side of the Rx6 is its pricey and i dont think you can rebuild it. Both turbos should be able to make around the power your looking for easily.

I dont think that clutch will do. Look for something that will grab harder.

You will also need bigger injectors as well.

Since your in Japan start buying stuff there. Save yourself money since its all right there.

Why a s15 pump again?

fuel pump

It outflows gtr fuel pumps :)

I would got for 550cc primaries and 1300-1680cc secondary injectors. Look into maybe a stage 2 clutch or the Act Street/Strip clutch, that's the one I'm running on my car and it grabs pretty well. Aspec's 500R turbo is also really good and maybe look into a T04S. Those will all help you reach your goal pretty easily.

I have a garret T04S a/r 1.00. Boost real low and has great response. Fresh motor with a mild street port. greddy 2 row FMIC, greddy full 3.75 exhaust, and 550/1680 injectors. here is what the dyno said.

i have almost that set up with a turbonetics ceramic ball bearing 62-1 with an undersized ar ratio of 0.81 and i have full boost at exactly 3k rpm my low boost setting makes about 320whp at 12 psi and my high boost makes about 400whp at 14.5psi have a kan tuning v-mount with a koyo radiator and a pfc and injectors.

So you gain 80 rwhp from 2.5psi??????
