Looks good, a little over the top on a few things. Which EMS are you plannign on running? Who will tune it?

AHarada 05-02-07 05:48 PM

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think a race port is the largest port.

rynberg 05-02-07 05:52 PM

Is this some made up list or something? Or is it the mod list on a car you are looking to buy?

HKNY 05-02-07 06:29 PM

is this a question or a statement?

Monsterbox 05-02-07 06:52 PM

i might be wrong but arent hurley seals a bad idea for longevity...arent they only recommended for tuning so that u can push the limit and break them without worrying bout damage to housing?

shotta 05-02-07 06:55 PM

a car looking to buy. its priced really low and modded out like that, so im assuming that hes BSing somewhere.

There's a good reason not to buy, unless you know what you're dealing with and can fix the problem and spend money on things that might go wrong.

shotta 05-02-07 07:05 PM

Yea i figured, but hey i stand by this "work on your car, you get to know your car".
You want to take a look at it? here's the linkebay fd

shotta 05-02-07 07:08 PM

oh and the current price says 5 grand so yea i am going to have to say this is a scam

rynberg 05-02-07 07:17 PM

The mod list is a joke.

Why don't you just pick up a clean car with a high mileage or blown engine? From your other thread, it seems like you are looking for a project car, but there's no point in buying up some ratted-out piece of shit when you can get a clean roller or blown motor car. Unless you are looking to rescue a car, but then be prepared for what that entails.

shotta 05-02-07 08:14 PM

i figure if it has some things on it, get a decent price, one less thing to do

gravytraindg 05-02-07 08:24 PM

chrome header....i dont think so, maybe polished. there is no pulley kit on that car. 0 feedback= stay away!

scam city

theorie 05-02-07 08:50 PM

haha someone tried run a scam using pictures of my FD two years ago.

i saw on some website that MY CAR was for sale for $4,500. when at the same time i was really selling it on ebay for $17,500

i hate scammers

TheRxForSpeed 05-02-07 08:54 PM

Yea that's a scam IIRC i saw that one a couple months ago, Tried contacting the seller and if remember right his oringal story was he moved overseas to England of or some bs and the car was still in the states. If it was sold he would fly back and finish the paperwork and gives the keys. I basically start rolling on the floor laughing after reading that email.

You'll have a new quote to stand by if you get this car. Bought this car, called loan office to report money lost.

shotta 05-02-07 09:30 PM

lol yea i don't really use ebay much, too many scams, i saw that and decided to post, well i guess this thread can be killed now
