engine light
 

I have done a search and didn't see anything posted about the engine light never going off. Mine stays on and when i put the clip into the diag tester it won't show codes. Just stays highlighted the whole time.

I am not sure if it stays on while the car is running though b/c my car currently will not start. I was told the ecu might be bad and I am going to try changing it out next week when I have a known working ecu to test with.

Any one had this problem? Or seen a thread that maybe I missed?

It should be on when the key is in the on position with the car off. It should be off with the car running, unless theres an issue.

Ahh i see now. I was under the impression that it went off when you turned the key to "on" if there was no codes. :o:
