Engine bay frame sticker

I'm guessing you are wondering why they are there?
That is stock, there are also little stickers on holes in the fender. I think the holes are there for alignment purposes at the factory - the body panels are bolted on and aligned then that piece of tape is put on to keep water out. The car has the tape painted over at the factory. Dale |
Hi Dale, thank you for your reply! For some reason the text in the original post dissapeared. I am also wondering what material is this sticker? Is it gauze?

It's a cloth-reinforced tape. Kind of like how Duct Tape has a cloth layer for strength. At least that's my best guess.

Since I have hood shocks for my aftermarket hood, I've removed my prop rod and clip and covered the clip hole with a piece of tan masking tape. Once applied, I painted it with several coats of touchup paint, and it looks OE.

^^ Yup Kensin, that's me. I'm running carbon fiber look NRGs. When ordering, make sure to special order them in half pressure.
