Engine air flow???
Can anyone answer what the air flow is through a 13b? That would be a 93-95 13b. I wanted to get that info in order to understand more in depth of how to match a turbo to the engine. I already know of good turbos that have been known to work but I just wanted to get a better understanding of the relation of the compressor maps. Thanks.

Air flow all depends on the port size, turbo, exhaust, and air density.
Compression is a totally different story. |
What I am looking for is the maximum air flow through a stock port engine. This would be independent of the turbo. I am assuming that when a porting of a motor is done that it can be flow tested. Since I realize that it is different depending on the porting I am just looking for stock numbers. For example, since I am more familiar with piston engines, when you port a head it can be tested on a flow bench in order to get its maximum flow through a head. Of course many factors may come into consideration but I am looking for a base number that I may work with. Thanks.

it is generally accepted that the 13b requires 1.92 cfm to make 1 hp at the rear wheels.
