yeah it was great, it was battery operated which was cool. Forks coudl also move forward, back, side to side, and tilit. It came in really handly when try to rangle that thing out. Only problem wiuth using forklift is that it won't stay suspended over night, so you hav to remove oil pan right away and set it down.

Nice job man! When you return the core to mazda, is it just the short block with no oil pan or water pump?

Nice cherry picker! Looks like it's going good so far.
Good luck.

yeah, I am just sending back the core. the guys who built my engine are sending it to me first, so I can just stick mine in their crate and voila, off it goes. I also get to see exactly what I have to take off, will be much easier having both side by side.

yeah, eveythign is going okay, if I had to do it again , I woudl keep tranny in car again, although if I had to do it over again, I think I would have dropped tranny, it is faster with leavin it int the car, but only if you have ever pulled an engine before. took me forever :)

I think I bent a bit of the wedge colalr too, not sure if the teeth are supposed to go in or outside of the little ring. I will try to post pics of that tomorrow.
