Electronic Non-Sequential Switch
 

Who has done this modification? I ran a search on it, and there are a couple write ups, but I have another question:
Will that switch mod work with a pfc?
Or does the PFC have a built in mode to run non seq?

the switch on the PFC wont work unless you do all the hoseing and butterfly open/ removal jobs.
As for a non-seq switch, Unless youve got robotic arms that come out of your manifold somewhere which reroute the hoseing to instantly turn it into non-seq at the flick of the switch then I dont believe this is possible.

However, all this does is "tricks" the computer to thinking that you are in the post-transition phase. IMO This "mod" (if you want to call it that), is completely worthless. Boost starts to come on at about 4500 RPM (the same time the secondary would normally kick in anyway). This is significantly more lag than a true non-seq mod.

The non-seq option on the PFC is only used if you have performed the actual mechanical conversion. It just tells the ECU that it no longer needs to worry about the Turbo Control Solenoids, and all the other related equipment.

I have the Non-sequential switch installed and I like it. At first I didn't use it much because of the excessive lag, but you get used to it and the power delivery is much more predictable than the stock sequential set up.
