ECU Question
 

When you order a ECU upgrade... do you tell them what mods you have or are there preset stages??..such as stage 1,2, and 3.

If you go with m2 then it would be wise to get what you want accordingly. If you go with pettit or apexi then 'no'. However with the apexi you need to get it tuned to your mods once you have it. I do not believe that they pre tune them.

i was interested in the Pettit ......M2 presets their ECU's?

I believe Pettit has a few stages of programming for their ECU's as does M2. When I ordered mine, I did have to tell them the year and list of mods of my car.

I don't believe they specifically program an ECU for you though, I believe they just give you the "closest match" ECU from a set of pre-programmed ones.

Power FC
 

If you buy a Power FC from an Apexi Excel dealer such as SR Motorsports or XS it will come tuned for your mods. You tell them what you've got and they will supply you with an appropriate map.
