ECU connector... Do I need this connection?

Merry Christmas everyone,
I have a quick question for everyone here. I'm putting the engine back into my car and reconnecting the ECU, I was doing just fine when I ended up having an extra connector in my strand that I can't find where it connects to. It looks really pretty good, could it be that it's for a car with an auto transmission (as I have a manual)?
I have attached the picture here. What do you guys think?

Thats fine!

if you ground that ( use a switch to choose when this happens) it will turn the fans on...

Do a search for "fan mod"..... should help you out!

Ok, so what your saying is that normally that connector isn't hooked up?

Ok I went to:

and I fully understand what you were talking about...

After I take a ride in my car for the first time, I might just have to do this mod!
Thanks Johnathan!
