As long as the ecu matches your car's emission status (California or Federal), it should work fine.

Hmm, I'm not so sure. IRRC, there was a thread a ways back from someone having unexplained boost issues by using a '94 remapped ECU with a '93. Apparently he sold it, and then when he got a '93 remapped ECU, everything was fine.

I've also noted Pettit and some other shops specify that you tell them what year FD your car is when ordering a remmaped ECU.

However, it may be fine. I could be wrong on this.

Ditto, that was my question also. if it did not matter then why are they asking what year model? hhhmmm

The '94s had some of the issues with 3K Hesitation and other things ironed out a bit better, and there were other reliability things done to the ECU in '94+ that were not on the '93 for instance the rad fan mod where you ground out the connector, never worked for me on the '94 ECU yet on my '93 it worked like a chram... there's deffinitely a difference....
