E-Shaft Jet in Oil Pan?

Does anyone know how this would happen? I just dissassembled my motor (removing the front hub bolt was a bitch and a half), and when i removed the oil fan i found the bearing, spring, and jet all sitting at the bottom. What are the effects of having no jet installed on the E-shaft and how the hell would it get there?

Probably insufficient cooling on the faces of one of the rotors....and possibly reduced pressure if the other one was down-stream. No idea how it would come out on it's own. I don't think there is typically any need to remove them, but understand they can be a bitch to get out. IIRC thread locker is used from the factory.

We find those loose many of the motors we disassemble at the shop. It will definitely affect oil delivery and cooling to the rotors. We lock tite every single one and haven't had an issue.

Interesting, I will definitely use some loctite when reassembling. How would the jets travel from the E shaft to the oil pan though?
