Dudemanownsanrx7 re-wire and fuel pump question....

So any ways I did the re-wire from the diagram on the "why you should rewire your pump thread" The one with the Bosch Relay, any ways I also installed a new supra pump today. Heres my question. And keep in mind that I have my apexi pfc removed and being remapped at rx7 store by jason. If the ecu is removed, and you turn the key to the on position should the new pump buzz as its pumping fuel to replace the air in the lines from switching the pump? I replaced the pump in my truck and as soon as the key was turned it did this. But also, the ecu was in. I guess my basic question is..... Does the ecu activate the pump?

The ECU produces a priming signal.

Any reason why you didn't have the car/ECU tuned locally on a dyno? That always works better than mail order tuning.

The only place around here that does tuning isnt very reputable, and costs over $500 to do a tune on the pfc... I think a map for my mods will work just fine. Intakes, dp, high flow, denso pump, apexi cat back, pettit smic.

I feel your pain about shitty local tuners. Glad I've got one rotary guru an hour away that is pretty good.
