Dual Intakes
I was wondering if i can use dual intakes on my stock turbos and was wondering would it give me more hp than a single intake. Also what companies make dual intakes for the FD
|
Open dual intakes: Apex'i, HKS, Blitz, GReddy.
Cold Air dual intakes: Pettit, M2, Rx7fashion, Rotaryextreme (all use K&N filters I think). there are probably more cuz there are so many. Just look around. |
what is better open dual intakes or cold air dual intakes
|
Most ppl will say cold air. It should yield more hp, so if u are looking for that I suggest getting/making ur own CAI.
I had a CAI and went to an open intake for no real reason.... and I feel no difference with my butt dyno. |
rofl butt dyno.. o god.. that is a classic.. thats going in my sig.. ROFL *dies*
well imho.... no diff.. cold air or open air.. it still goes thru the intercooler.. and if you have a front mount.. you wont see a diff.. |
does the j-spec hks intake that sells at rx7store.net give you 2 pipes and 2 filters

Lol the butt dyno makes any other kind of dyno extinct except for tuning purposes.

The HKS RS intakes comw with 2 pipes, and the intakes. Its what I have.
I'm surprised no one has heard of the butt dyno phrase. Anyway it was intended to mean I feel no difference, although there very well could be a minute difference. |
something else to consider
http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/l...tsbs.htm#TSB25 if you plan on keeping your airpump then you might want to look into the cold air intakes, do a search on cold air intakes + air pumps, and there's more discussion. israel |
