Downpipes

Alright,
I got my RX7 in November and finally put a boost gauge in it this past weekend. I figure my next step should be a downpipe. Does anybody have any suggestions as to which one to get? Or any ideas for other mods I could do without running too lean? I appreciate any responses.

Thanks - Russell

Hey Russell. Welcome to the board. Basically almost all downpipes are about the same. Just be sure to get a SS tainless one though. Look out for a group buy on downpipes in the group buy section. If your last name is Jeffcoat PM me because I used to go to school in Columbia with a Russell Jeffcoat.

downpipes are basically all the same performance wise but some differ in ease of installation.

Get the catback next then air intake then ecu then boost controller...etc.

A down pipe is a good idea. Take a look at my web site. It should be of great help to you.

Cool

Im running the HKS downpipe...Ceramic Coated...for 199 from Jason. Lots of performance gains.

Cant beat the price. I cant see spending $325 for SS that you will never see under the car. Take the extra money and buy an AST.

rotary93,

Do you notice any difference in the sound(good or bad) with the HKS. I heard the ss sound different....because the mild steel sounds mettalic.
