Double Throttle control Solenoid?

I have my turbos non-sequential and most the codes I pulled were from cause of going non-senquential...is this solenoid part of that or is this still on my car somewhere? My car loses all power past 4k rpms. Thanks

Though most people who go non-sequential remove and block-off the double throttle control, the air pump and the accelerated warm-up system (AWS), there is nothing about going non-sequential alone that says these other systems have been removed or deactivated. That said, the double throttle control is not likely to lead to "los[s of] all power beyond 4,000 rpm". You may be venting boost somewhere or something in the process of going non-sequential did not get back together correctly.

If you have it, there is a hose connecting it to the double throttle actuator behind the throttle body.

If you don't have it, a stock ECU will reduce your boost. You should install a resistor at the double throttle solenoid connector to trick the ECU out of wimp mode. I don't know what that reduction in power looks like, so I don't know if that is your power problem.

ok mate here we go. The double throttle is a secondary set of throttle plates installed in the throttle body. When the car is cold the solenoid feeds the double throtlle actuator with a vacuume that closes these throttles causing air restriction to the engine so as to stop the car from producing full power and full boost while cold (to prevent damage to the engine)

The double throttle solenoid is not part of the non-sequential set up,,, so if you are pulling the code for this solenoid, maybe its broken and keeping the throttle plates closed all the time,, which would hold back the engine especially in the higher rpm range.(sounds like it could very well be your problem) :-)

for some reason, even after i went nonsequential and got rid of the double throttle plates and solenoid and am runing an MBC on teh turbo's not the stock solenoids, it will drives like a pussy till its waremd up, just like it used to with all the shit still there. i guess its probably the simpel fact that the manifold and motor are too cold still to completely vaporize and atomize tha ir fuel, sort of like in carburetor setups

and also the DT plates on in the uim itself not the TB, but i guess that irrelevant

Alright...I dont have the solenoid. I think my problem is elsewhere because runs better when its cold and when it gets about 50 degrees its starts to lose all the power. It acts as it has a vacuum leak.
