Door barrel pushed in

Hey guys. I have an issue with my door barrel/key hole. I think someone tried to break into my car and the key hole is pushed all the way in. When I put my key in it works, but I have to jangle it around to get the key out. The small metal black cover that protects the key hole plastic is gone. I opens it also and it looks like there’s a clamp that holds it in place is missing. Anyone know where I may be able to buy replacements without having to change the entire door barrel? I’d like to keep using one key.

Just get the rebuild kit sold by one of the guys on the site. There is a small round cover plate, a new spring, and white plastic door flap. Look in the parts sold section for the listing. Really cheap and fairly easy to do yourself. The installation instruction are on the site also.

No luck finding it.

Mike is right.

I believe eve the title of the for sale thread is “door lock dust shutter rebuild kits” or along those lines. There is a big C clip that holds the barrel in place too. I imagine that is just popped out of place. You should be able to fix all this with about 20 mins time and a 10mm socket ;)

Also if you do have to swap the cylinder out with another one for whatever reason, any good locksmith can replace and re-order the tumblers in the lock to make it match your key. It should be easy for them to do and cheap.

Thanks I got everything I need. However I’m missing a clamp that holds the door barrel in place.
