Does OMP work with Microtech?
 
I know this should be posted on the microtech section but I have a better chance of getting a response from a third gen and more replies I removed the little pump that throws oil into the housings, dont remember what its called its located on the lower front housing, my question is for u guys who have microtechs I have heard that it still works. is this true?if so do I have to wire it I heard I only have to put it back on with the lines and it works and from Carlos Lopez of Lopez racing

Its called an Oil Metering Pump also referred to as OMP.

I guess you mean, can you wire it in to work with the microtech?

im running a microtech lt8 with a plug in adaptor to the standard loom, i believe mine was not working there for i ran premix. im not 100% either way if it can run it or not but im lead to believe mine wasnt

supposedly u just leave it in with the oil lines and it still pumps? Dont shot me I find it hard to believe myself?

If you leave it in, it will continue to pump, but won't respond accordingly with the throttle. There is an EXACT topic in the Microtech forum regarding this issue. Search next time.
