Does aftermarket exhaust work on stock turbos?

Hey everyone~ I was wanting to get an Apex'i GT spec for my 7 and someone told me that it would do more harm then good on the stock twin turbos. Can anyone tell me if this is true or not? This is what all I have done to the car... to see if I should get exhaust;
Newly rebuilt and mild streetported motor w/ new rotor housings
New turbos
New fuel injectors
New fuel pulsation dampener
New O2 sensor
New fuel filter
SS downpipe
HKS intake
Fluidyne radiator
ACT S/S clutch lightweight aluminum flywheel
Greddy blow-off valve
Greddy hard pipe kit w/ Greddy elbow
Baker Precision silicone vacuum lines
Mild streetport Port matched upper and lower intake manifold
Fully polished engine bay
Eibach springs
Tokico 5-way adjustable shocks
Carbon fiber dash trim
Greddy turbo timer

Would the Apex'i GT (or if you guys think I shouldnt get the GT then the N1) do more harm or good? Thanks a lot for your guys' help!
Mark:confused:

I dont know why somebody would tell you that a catback would be bad for your FD. It could free up to an additional 10-15 RWHP with those mods you have now.

But of course you have to remember the new 3 mod rule: if you have 3 mods that improve your airflow you have to find someway to control your boost. :D if you are still on your stock ECU, you need to make sure you stay below 10 PSI. You could go with a standalone like the Apexi PFC or just get a burned ECU like a Pettit or M2 ECU. That way you dont have to worry about hitting fuel cut.

Who ever told you that is full off shit, a good exhaust is needed to get the most out of the stock turbos. Pick whichever one you like the best.

Actually the new rule seems to be ignore what everyone's saying, don't use the search, and start a new thread about it....

I should mention that my setup is loud as fawk (fine with me though). So if you got an N1 or GT (or any N1 type exhaust) it will also be loud.

Sometime in the future I will be getting a MP and going with the larger diameter GT spec. I can only imagine what the car would sound like then .
