Do you change you spark plugs more than once a year??

I know the FSM recommends changing the spark plugs once a year. Do many of you change your plugs more often? Of course the more modded the car, I imagine the more frequent the plug replacement. My 7 isn't that modded, but I do find the electrode wearing as early as four months after replacing them along with black deposits on the top of the plug (I know I'm running rich, but aren't we all?). Since I've gotten the car, I've made it a habit of changing my plugs twice a year, and wires, once a year. Just wondering if anyone else is changing theirs as frequent. Thanks

Brian

Yep, the more modded the car the more often you should replace them I do mine with every other oil change. Wires... maybe every 30K.

I do mine about every 3-4 months. The deposits start to build up immediatly and and can effect the spark, if you don't have a good spark, well you know.

I want my car running its best all the time, of course I do have a boost leak that I can't find but the car still runs very good.
