Disabling Boost?

What's the easiest way to disable boost on a 3rd gen? I have kind of a weird situation. My Power FC broke (no combustion). I had to put in the stock CPU to get the car to start. With the mods I have I really don't want to drive it (Big front mount, K&N cones, 3" downpipe, and a Apexi GT exhaust). How can I disable to the boost so I can drive it home (it's at the shop). My understanding is that as long as the boost is low i can drive it. I have a new Power FC on order but I have to get her home.

The "light right foot" mod...

I thought about that but I don't trust my right foot....

Swapping the connectors on the Wastegate and Pre-control solenoids will limit you to about 7lbs of boost.

If you are just driving it home, why bother? If you need to drive it for a few days until the PFC gets there, then that's something different.

I'm still on my 1st motor and I'd like to keep it that way. I just figure better safe than over boosting and having to do a rebuild.

Just don't WOT on the way home. IMO it's a waste of time to mess with changing/removing anything just for one drive.

If you can't restain yourself for one drive in your car, I hope you aren't married.
