Difference in models
 

Getting ready to buy a third gen. How do you tell the difference in the models. Touring,R1,base,ect.

ok.. i wont be a complete bitch..even though this is the 25 billionth post asking the same thing. R1/R2 has dual oil coolers, suede(really cloth) seats, no sunroof, and has a front lip stock. Touring comes with ONE oil cooler, leather seats, has a sunroof, and it comes with cruise control. Im not sure about the base other than it comes with cloth seats.

R1/R2 - dual oil coolers, front lip, front strut bar, no sunroof, no cruise, no rear wiper, only came in silver, red, and black

base - nothing, usually won't have a rear wing

Touring - glass sunroof, leather, cruise, rear wiper, bose system, usually have a rear wing

PEP/PEG - painted sunroof, cruise, leather, no rear wiper, no Bose, usually have a rear wing, only in 94 and 95 (93 gauges are different)
