one of those may have the "tinted strip" option on the top? I dunno..
I see no other reason the windscreens should be different when the whole main body of the FD is more or less the same throughout the whole production period from 92 to 2002

The curvature of the rear windscreen changed from '93 to '94, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Lol so does anybody know if they are interchangable?. As long as it fits i will use it. Im going to tint the entire front windshield anyway.

they are interchangeable. Color differences, I think, in the tint on top.

Some were tinted grey and some were tinted brown I think.

If there is something to seriously consider, it's using the Mazda trim stripping.

Yea i just bout all of that brand new from mazda. Are aftermarket windshield any good?. I can get it for 200 but its not oem mazda.

I have the aftermarket glass and I have no issues with it. I may need to replace it again since the body shop messed with the tee molding and it's not right anymore. From what I hear, it's likely that removing the glass will crack it.

Have the windshield company coordinate with the body shop. The glass shop will remove the windshield, then the car will be painted, then the new windshield installed. This should save you some money from the body shop since they wont have to hassle with taping/removing the windshield moldings.
