This might be a dumb question, but I still need to know the difference:D
And please tell me which one's better and why. |

Sounds like replacing the engine is better? Because everything will be new.

What he was trying to say is even if you "replace" the engine and while it may be a different block than your old one it is still going to contain old parts that have been reused. Most of the time when you rebuild or have someone rebuild the motor they will go through it and replace only the parts that are out of spec. In most cases the major parts, I.E. rotors, rotor housings, e-saft and such are reused. While the apex seals, and other seals are replaced. So to answer your original question if you are "replacing" your motor chances are good that you are putting in a "rebuilt" motor.

and...
and when you rebuild instead of replace...YOU CAN DO THE STREETPORT!!!!
got to...no doubt about it. j |
how much for a street port? I'd like to make it a 12 second car.
|
You don't need a street port to run 12's. It will help but its not needed. Get an intake, exhaust, and a boost controller. Run 12 PSI and there you go.
|
what's a street port? going to rebuild the engine soon... how does it drive after you have it?
|
With a street port, you can go a lot faster
