diff bushing dimension

has anyone got a set of calipers and some uninstalled differential bushings to measure up? pictures would be awesome.

looking for:

overall length
length between shoulders (length of hole in differential)
outer diameter of section between shoulders
inner diameter of bolt hole

thanks in advance for any assistance

I thought I could help, but now that I look at the DFX files I got some time back, there are no dimensions.

i've got some generic poly bushings that look like they may work for the diff, but i need to confirm the size.

anyone have dims?

I have a set of Mazdaspeed bushings that I'll measure tomorrow AM after they have time to warm up.

The OD is 62.2mm, length is 37.3 (not including rubber flange), shoulder-to-shoulder length is 49.3, bore is 12.30mm. The extension of the center pin on the side with the rubber flange is 7.5mm, and the extension on the opposite side is 4.25mm.

Do you have dimensions for all the bushings?

If so, do you care to share?

nismosilvia270r Jan 30, 2012 10:48 AM

so i needed to replace the tension control rod bushings in my wife's 240sx.
There is enough bushing here to modify to use as differential bushings on an FD.
and at 24.95 shipped from energy suspension, this cheap bastard will make them work.

Here are the measurements for the Nissan 240sx TC Rod Bushings:

FYI, the measurements of the Mazda bushing have a metal surround on the outside. It may require a lot more interference if you're pressing just the urethane against the diff housing.

I have most of the bushings but going through all of them to measure them is not in my schedule, sorry.

I think the numbers would be the same as worn-out bushings in any case.

I certainly didn't expect you to measure them all, was just wondering if you already had measurements for all of them.

i wonder what diameter the other aftermarket bushings are, since they dont have metal cases.

I just measured this one since the diff bushings and micrometer were handy.
