Dented FPR, is it fine?
 

Okay so I had a stripped bolt removing my stock FPR so I had to use vice grips to remove it. The grips dented the upper portion of it slightly, will this cause it to malfunction? I'm not sure how they work and assume there's a diaphragm of valve inside and may not move because of dent?

I wouldn't use it, it might not work properly or it might leak. They are fairly cheap used, I have a couple stock FPRs laying around and a spare secondary rail too if you need.

Yep. Inside the FPR is a spring pushing against a diaphram. If the back plate is tweaked or dented, that can preload the spring and increase fuel pressure.

Matter of fact, DSM guys used to "crush" their stock blow off valve to keep it held shut longer and increase spring preload. Same principle.

If you were having issues with the stock screws that hold it to the fuel rail, next time use an impact screwdriver to remove the screws. Then, replace with Allen head fasteners, they're cheap from McMaster-Carr.

Yeah every screw came out with ease. The very last one decided to strip right away with pressure on it. Already going Allen head screws on everything that takes a Phillips head screw.
