Dead Tach

Ok so tonight, the first night i have with my new fd, i decide to pull the dash to see why the tach doesnt work.

first i take my cluster out and jimmy rig another cluster on. the needle is boucing all around with the car off. so i take both clusters apart and swap my tach into the extra cluster. while pulling one of the plugs in the back i tore one of the traces on circuit. so now i resolder(what a pain) the trace back together. that trace has lightbulbs on it that light so i know the soldering is good.

so i jimmy rig the newer cluster up tp test it an its working perfect. ok. so now i go and screw the cluster back into the hood, plug everthing back in and start the car, works great. so then i installed my boost and a/f gauge. start the car again to go home......tach reads zero....wtf....what did i miss, what else do i check?
