Custom Under Belly Tray

I know there was a thread on here a while back about making custom under bellies for the 3rd gen.

Anyone produce a sturdy one that they can reproduce to sell??

mine is beat to shit. Well the half that is still on the car is. :p:

Any ideas, suggestions, thoughts?

not many AM ones atm. cwest does sell a tray that fits their cwest kit. as for oem, have to get a used one, but a new one is 75$ i think? or maybe it was 150$

There's not a better material for the tray than plastic IMO. Metal will bend and get creased up, fiberglass and the like will be easily smashed. The stock tray is much tougher than either of those.

I just bought a new one from Mazda Motorsports for $110 and seems like Malloy sells them for $150. That's really not that expensive compared to anything else on this car but nobody likes to spend money on "plain" parts the car really needs. They want Mods ;)

Will the stock OEM one fit the c west nose?

If not does anybody know where I can get the c west under belly?

the oem unit does not fit the C West. I made one from aluminum.

im driving around without one...no issues.

I wouldn't drive around without one. You need some kind of ducting for the rad. Plus help with the flow of air under the car for aerodynamics.

Yeah my car didn't have one when I bought it and it would overheat pretty easily. Definitely get another one.

overheating and rocks, sand and crap flying in your engine bay. I would definitely get one.

ASI racing produces an Under belly pan, but he would probably have to make the vents on the pan with your car in his shop so i dont think that would work. but contact him and see what he is willing to do...info is in the sig peace out
