Damian, do you have an update on your ducting and splitter/front undertray? pricing?

After another great weekend at VIR, I know I need better cooling.
My car has a stock front end, Fluidyne radiator and Pettit stock mount intercooler. Will your ductwork likely fit? I have been looking forward to updates on your project.

hello, i been crazy busy with a client video production and getting the track car ready for the new track season, so i havnt had time to work on the deatils of the ducting.

both the undertray/splitter and the radiator ducting were made to my mS gtc nose, that nose sitts lower than the stock and has larger holes, so neither will fit right on a stock nose without adjustments, however teh radiator ducting would probably still work with minor changes.

I may end up just posting the templates i made for the radiator ducting so people can make them for their own car. I do have a thread out there that shows pics of ducting that you can do to the stock radiator and undertray, i did this on my street car that still has stock nose/radiator.

if you make it, it will sell.... some ppl don't have skills, or proper tools and materials, or time, or are plain lazy and prefer to buy a kit!!!! PLEASEEEEEEEEE

MrRx 04-04-05 08:59 PM

if i read correctly damain, you have a mazdaspeed radiator? and i am assuming you modified it to tilt forward (in it's current position). how did you do that and is there any problems with coolant flow and refilling?

MrRx 04-05-05 04:31 PM

The stock radation sit tilted forwards like that, the only reason people mount them strait up and down are with front mount IC kits.

like MrRx said, the mazdaspeed radiator sits in the same location/postiion as the stock radiator, I did not change that title or position.

i may sell, but its people complainaing about fitment issues and all that hassle that i dont want to get into. i havent tried my radiator template on a stock car, so i have no idea what issues would come up.... on a car wiht a mazdaspeed nose and stock location radiator, it would fit just fine :-)

I really like how you make it simple but effective.

I was a little lost on hoe you run your intercooler?

Behind the rad?
