Crazy boost problem.

My car does 7-5-7 normally which is a problem.

im trying to narrow it..

My car stalls with AC on. It also does 6-4-6 with the ac on.

Im thinking these problems are linked somehow...

could htis be a possible vac leak?

appreciate any help.

First check all IC accordian couplers and Y-Pipe connections for a leak. If no leak is found then you may need to replace the Turbo Control Solenoid. Also, change the electronic connections on the Pre- Turbo/Wastegate Solenoid and see if the secondary turbo boost increases at transition. I did all of the above and was able to obtain a perfect 10-8-10 (12 spike) boost pattern. Good Luck!!

Im going to try to check the ic and y pipe today. I already tried changing the connections a long time ago, didnt help

edit: all my spelling mistakes ;)

Also, check for a leak at the Throttle Boby/Compression Tube connection. Might need to replace the o-ring??? And if the accordian couplers are not leaking, you may want to check the actual stock plastic IC pipes. They sometimes crack (hairline crack) and expand under boost.

Well if there's a transition, you can eliminate the actuators, BOV, CRV and the boost control selenoid. If anything, check to make sure both of your IC pipes (both the lower and the upper) are ok, then just start using the process of elimination. Replace anything that would normally go due to wear and tear. If you have the patience, do the vaccume hose job via the robrobinette website. If you slowly find the problem while replacing possible culprits, you'll have a happier FD when you fix everything.
