crank no start 93FD

I have a 93FD. the motor popped I replaced it with an engine from a 95 JDM FD clip did a single turbo swap. now trying to get it running I have triple checked all connections when I got to the cas the wires seemed old and were cracking at the connector I sourced both connectors and soldered them on. when I try to tap and view the circut with an ossylisicope I get nothing. but when I try to crank I get a tach signal of about 600 to 800 rpm. i didn't put shielding on the wires(cause im dumb). should I try shielding it or or does the tach signal mean my PFC sees the signal. stuck please help

Check that the Crank Angle Sensor is seeing something otherwise how is it supposed to know when to fire.... Then Check the Spark Plugs, Igniter, Ignition Coils in that order...
Making sure you have spark... and then the Injectors I suppose... you should smell fuel...
If Not the EGR Relay my be bad...

Best advice yet, get a --> Brand NEW Harness <--

Have you compression tested the jspec? Whenever you buy a jepc it is a gamble as to whether you are getting a good engine or not. Most people opt to rebuild them prior to installation.

I say this because 600-800 rmp is a very high cranking speed. Start with compression check, then verify that you have fuel and spark. If you have all 3 then make sure it is not flooded. The PFC gets the tach signal from the CA sensors.

does it get the signal from one sensor or both. both prolly so if I see a tach signal the sensors must be working but when I try to hook up my osycilliscope I get nothing. thanks for the help im gonna check those and see what happens
