Could I used the Bose speaker and wave?

hi fellows, I´m tired to fix my stock audio system.

I have a 93 touring with all that BOSE things, My speaker pre-amps are dead and the cd player too.

Could I use/connect the Bose wave system and the speakers -taking the pre amps, stereo and cd player out- with another amplifier, audio system or stereo?

I will appreciate any suggestion

Thanxs, RT.

Yes you can, I did this to my 93 touring. You can run an after market Deck/head unit with the Bose speaker system. You need to buy an OEM adapter(little black box that converts the 4Ohm signal from the Aftermarket deck to the 2Ohm signal that the bose system uses) I have one for sale if you are interested.

I'll sell it for $40 U.S. + Shiping to Venezuela

Thanks a lot, I will try to find the adapter here because just the shipping will be near $40.

Now I know that I need the impedance adapter.

I really aprecciate your help.

Your adapter is from Bose or Mazda?

How many adapters do I need? Just one?

Ok, we know that the front speakers and the subs has an impedance of 2 Ohms.
What do you think if I use an aftermarket stereo (Pioneer or Sony or whatever with the standard 4 Ohms speaker outputs) and my stock Bose speakers but wired in 'series' I mean, connect two speakers wired in series to one stereo output and do the same with the another two speakers. In that way there is another 2 outputs available at the stereo unit so you can connect the 4 Ohms center speaker too.

In a series wiring 2 Ohms + 2 Ohms = 4 Ohms.

Will I destroy the system?
What do you think?
