Correct way to install OEM driverside rear tie-down bracket?

Hi all, quick question while I'm trying to finalize my tie-down hook install with FEED tow hooks. What seems to be a pretty straight-foward install, which it was until something came up...

Referring to the driverside, the OEM tie-down bracket has 3 screw holes. And of course, I saw three bolts I thought I could mount to on the underside rear of the RX7. The bolt layout is like a "triangle" shape. However, I can only mount the tie-down bracket to #1 (top-most) and #3 (bottom-right). I couldn't only mount to #2 because the bracket conflicts against the tank housing next to it. When bolting the tie-down bracket just to these 2 screws, the bracket hangs down vertically, which is perfect and most logical. However, if I try to "imagine" mounting to all 3 bolts, the bracket will "point" towards the front of the car and clearly does not appear correct positioning..even then, i can't install this way because tank housing is in the way. Plus, wouldn't their be more "stress/tension" on the bracket if it were pointing towards the front, yet the car would be pulled from the rear? Perhaps someone can chime in on their experience.

Pics below of current install which appears correct but I don't like the fact that one hole is left unbolted. The bracket is very durably installed and if I try to push the bracket, the whole car moves so it is infact securely affixed to the rear end of the car. I know these tie-downs aren't meant for towing but I just wanted to confirm that thing is "locked" onto the car. The FEED tow-hooks is what will be installed next.

Picture of mounting area if laying on your back looking up the car's rear, LoL.

You said this one is mounted on the driver side right? Does the RH engraved on it mean Right Hand?

+1

It looks like you have the tie down for the passenger side. I recently installed my rear driver's side tie down (which has "LH" stamped on it) and it bolted right on.

Good eye. That seems to be it. I'm used to seeing "R" or "L." The "RH" or "LH" would never cross my mind.

Thanks you two for the help.
