Cooling Problem
Ok I just got done replacing the T-stat and the water pump. I still having problems with the cooling system. I replace the T-stat with an aftermarket one that you can buy from your local store. It both say 98degrees so I'm thinking it should not have any difference but it still didn't fix the problem. Then I replace the water pump although I think it's almost impossible fot it to go bad. It still didn't fix the problem. The Temp on the PFC reads as high as 110. I got it up to 122 when I first had the problem. When I first start the car it will go up to 98 then I guesse the T-stat will open then the temp will go back down. then it will go up to 104 then cool down again. everytime the T-stat open and close the temp goes higher and higher. Seems like the radiator is not cooling the coolant enough. The car was running fine for months in FLorida weather before this happened and I'm in Long Island NY right now were the outside temp is 52deg. My seven should have not have this kind of problem. Any suggestion would be appreciated. I want to bring my seven back to FL in one peice. Thanks.
PS mods on the sig.
