cooling fans on when ignition is on

engine harness was jdm but i fixed the x-05 connector and the brown yellow wire.

ok heres the situation i bought my car as a shell that had an ls1 in it. im bringing it back from ls1. when i turn the key to on position the fans kick on instantly without hitting the start position. ive tested all 4 relays all of them are working fine. I believe i have all the wiring fixed from the ls1 swap.

please help me guys

Grounds and check the wiring for broken wires for the fans. I had the same issue, and it turned out to be a combination of the two.

I had similar situation recently. Try and see what happens when you pull out the fan fuse. If the fans don't turn off something is shorting out from main batt power into your fans.

if your ac botton is pressed on and the ac fan knob is on 1-4 then the fans will kick on automatically in the on position

The last car I had in the shop with this problem had the fan recall harness at the relays but the control box had been removed.

Remove the patch harness at the relays, see if this fixes your problem.

wow i didnt even think of the ac being on. i will feel pretty dumb if that is the problem. thanks guys ill check it out

was gonna mention the A/C switch but been covered.

when i was messing around with this the last time....i accidentally plugged in the wrong harness to the wrong relay as they all will plug into eachother.....check to make sure the correct harness goes to the correct relay
