Coolant puddle

I went to drive my car today but before I drove I took a look under my car only to find a puddle of coolant. I have smelled coolant for the past week or so but I thought it was a heater core hose that I had already bought (only because I remember seeing a little crack in the hose a little ago). I started to take apart the intake to get down to the coolant hoses.... I found out the hose I thought was leaking actually was bone dry. I did see a little coolant under the hose though. After looking around I noticed the hose from the filler neck to the turbos (that little piece of shit hose) had some wet residue around it. I am going to replace both hoses then fill up with the Evans coolant. One question though.... anyone know the best method to filling up with Evans??? I am thinking flush with water... let it evaporate after a few days of hot weather then fill back up with Evans.

You guys suck... :( well anyway, I pulled off the hose and there was a crack. I'm going to replace that then try to fill up with the Evans if I find the best way.

Flush with Sierra before putting in the Evan's. It absorbs the excess water. I did two flushes and didn't let the system dry out at all.

www.pineappleracing.com has some instructions.

Thanks man... I thought the Sierra would contaminate the Evans because... "Evans NPG+ is non-aqueous, meaning it doesn't like water. It is also incompatible with ordinary coolants" But then later on it says the Sierra wont harm the Evans... Good info. :bigthumb:
